Millions of Americans endure the pain of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and the social stigma attached to it, but many of them feel terribly alone. In truth, approximately one in twelve people actually experience this problem. Further, it’s important to acknowledge that for each SUD sufferer, another eight people are in a codependent relationship with them—about 217 million people dealing with the indirect impacts of substance abuse. Stay Clean provides direct access for both addicts and their loved ones to one-on-one counseling via HIPAA-compliant, secure telehealth. All Stay Clean therapists are licensed to treat Substance Use Disorder and have years of experience walking the path to successful recovery.

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) affects unique individuals, but its ramifications cross all societal boundaries. Family, friends, employers, and coworkers are all impacted to increasing degrees as the illness progresses. Today, the DSM-5 includes codependency as a treatable condition that affects approximately eight close contacts per individual struggling with addiction. The current rate of addiction means that the 27 million individuals with SUD are impacting over 200 million other lives. These startling figures illustrate the vast reach of substance abuse.

Of the 27 million people with SUD, treatment is readily available for about 11 percent. The remainder are left struggling for answers to their progressive illness.

At Stay Clean, we believe the most effective way to make an impact is to bring treatment and support directly to the individual. Our approach is based around access to a network of professional Substance Use Disorder Clinicians who use ASAM criteria to assess needs, complexities, and appropriate resources. We provide results of this assessment together with a comprehensive treatment plan that includes ongoing clinical treatment and community engagement.

Our goal is to treat the unique individual and to do so in conjunction with family, insurance providers, businesses, and peers.
